Wellspring
A calming puzzle game where you pave the way for water to reach its destination.
About the game
Wellspring is a calming puzzle game about water. Carved jade stones fall into an old well, one at a time. Turn them and set them in place so their channels join the spring at the bottom to the garden above, then raise the water and watch it climb.
Every channel you leave open lets the water get away, so the craft is in fitting each stone cleanly. Bronze jade opens two ways, silver three, and rare golden jade all four.
The demo has two ways to play. In Experience you tend the garden with no clock and no pressure, and can rewind whenever you like. In the Carver's Yard (Artistic) you lay stones freely and make pictures. Keep a picture or a timelapse of any well you build in your Memories.
How to play
- Move and turn the falling stone, then drop it into the well.
- Line up the carved channels so they join the spring at the bottom to the garden at the top.
- Close off loose ends: every open channel lets water escape.
- When you're ready, raise the water and watch it reach the garden.
